Watershed

Pictured is a line of powdered and fired Watershed clay. The line acts as prompt for questions about the site and refers to the former history of Watershed as a brick factory. To obtain permits to fire bricks, the barn was sawed in half and rolled down the hill into the neighboring county. This is a visualization of the county line the building had to cross, as do visitors when they walk from the lodgings to the studio.
